If I make Column a struct, this works:

type Query struct {
	Select *Select `"SELECT" @@`
}

type Select struct {
	Columns   []*Column `@@ { "," @@ }`
	TableName string    `"FROM" @Ident`
}

type Column struct {
	Column string `@Ident`
}

Why can't I parse directly into a []*string using Ident?

What happens if you use Columns []string?

Participle doesn't support parsing into string pointers, though only because I didn't think anyone would want to do that :)... why are you out of curiosity?
